The "4 Step Switch"to Better Banking

at RBCU

RBCU has made moving your accounts from your old financial institution as convenient and easy as possible with our chronologically ordered Switch Kit. All the letters and forms you will need to make this transition are provided here. All you have to do is choose the applicable forms/letters, fill them out on your computer and print them or print them and fill them out by hand, then mail them to the appropriate companies and/or individuals.

Four Steps to a Switch

Look at the 4 step checklist below. Each step should be completed chronologically for the best results. First, choose the PDF form or letter that is correct for your situation. Then open that document and type your information into the pre-written form or letter, print the document, and mail it to the appropriate party explaining the change in your banking relationship.

 

 

1.      Open your account(s) at RBCU.

  • Set Up My Direct Deposit
    Use this form to sign up for direct deposit of your payroll into RBCU checking or savings account(s).
  • Switch my Direct Deposit
    If you already have direct deposit going to an account at another institution, use this change request form to authorize a change to an RBCU checking account.

 

2.      Send letters requesting cancellation or switching of automatic
              withdrawal or payments at your previous financial institution(s).

3.      Stop using your old accounts.

4.      Close your old accounts.  

  • Close My Account
    This letter is to notify your previous bank that you are closing your account and gives them instructions for disbursement of any remaining funds.
