On July 14, 2008, Pat Brekken, President of Richfield Bloomington Credit Union (RBCU), and André Thibault, AVP of Marketing for RBCU, presented a donation of $29,370 to the Richfield School Board.

The donation will be used to replace the 30-year-old electronic scoreboards in the main high school gymnasium. Additionally, the school will purchase four portable scoreboards to be used for basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, and community basketball.

A second phase of the donation, totaling an additional $23,960, will be given at a later date to purchase new electronic scoreboards at the intermediate school, middle school, and the auxiliary high school gymnasiums.
